A better place to sit, stay & socialize.
We love our dogs. We also love grabbing a drink with friends, watching the game, spending an afternoon outside, and finding places that actually feel like part of the community.
So we started asking a simple question:
Why can’t we do both?
Sit & Stay Social is our vision for a different kind of dog-friendly experience in Columbia, Missouri. Part off-leash dog park, part neighborhood hangout, and completely designed around bringing dogs and their people together.
The idea
Picture a large, secure off-leash space where your dog can run, play and make friends while you grab a drink and stay awhile.
We envision separate play areas for large and small dogs, plenty of room to run, covered seating, shade, heaters for cooler weather, TVs for Mizzou and Chiefs games, local food trucks, community events, breed meetups, trivia nights and more.
Come for an hour after work. Spend Saturday afternoon watching the game. Meet friends for a drink. Or just give your dog somewhere new to burn off some energy.
Dogs play. People stay.
Why Columbia?
Because we think Columbia is built for something like this.
We have an active community, great local food and drinks, plenty of dog owners, and people who genuinely enjoy getting out and doing things together.
What we don’t have is one place designed specifically to bring all of those things together.
We’d like to change that.

Sit & Stay Social is currently a concept
Before we choose a location, build the park or open the bar, we want to make sure Columbia actually wants it.
That’s where you come in.
We’re building a community of people interested in Sit & Stay Social and using your feedback to help shape everything from membership options and amenities to events and eventually where in Columbia we should call home.
